摘要： A printer gradation correcting method, comprises the steps of: outputting a color patch image by a printer based on image data of a color patch image; measuring a gradation of the outputted color patch image by a color measuring device so as to obtain a gradation measurement value; and correcting a gradation characteristic of the printer based on the gradation measurement value. The color patch image includes a patch-shaped image having a uniform gradation of a predetermined gradation representative value and gradation fluctuation of a predetermined color component added in the patch-shaped image, and the added gradation fluctuation is structured such that a total of gradation fluctuation measured in a measurement region by the color measuring device becomes a predetermined value. The gradation characteristic of the printer is corrected based on the gradation representative value, the predetermined value of the total of gradation fluctuation, and the gradation measurement value.

摘要： There are described image-processing method and apparatus, which make it possible to reduce the processing load even in the image-processing environment employing the Dyadic Wavelet transform. The apparatus includes a reading section to read an image recorded on a recording medium so as to generate image signals representing the image; a first converting section to apply a multi-resolution conversion processing of at least level 1, which is capable of reducing an image size of the image signals, to the image signals, so as to generate first-converted image signals from the image signals; and a second converting section to apply a Dyadic Wavelet transform of at least level 1 to low frequency band component signals included in the first-converted image signals, so as to generate second-converted image signals from the first-converted image signals. An image size of the first-converted image signals is smaller than that of the image signals.

One of the image-processing methods for creating processed image data by applying a spatial-filtering processing to source image data, comprises the steps of: setting a predetermined upper-limit value for a variation amount of the source image data, before performing an image-conversion processing through which the source image data are converted to the processed image data by applying the spatial-filtering processing; and performing the image-conversion processing for the source image data within a range of the variation amount limited by the predetermined upper-limit value. In the above, a plurality of spatial-filtering processing(s), characteristics of which are different each other, are performed either simultaneously in parallel or sequentially one by one in the image-conversion processing.

The other ends of the branch conductors of the intermediate cable arranging member are connected to the respective rectangular conductors.
