    • Herein disclosed are a hot/cold water mixing faucet structure and a mounting structure therefor, which are installed on a lavatory sink and enabled to joint and integrate a control knob and a faucet body directly and to control the separate two at a remote position by a control cable. The faucet body (15) housing a control unit (30) for controlling the temperature and/or flow of hot water to be spouted can be integrated into the hot/cold water mixing faucet device by separating the faucet body (15) and a control knob (16) and by jointing the two directly into the integral hot/cold water mixing faucet device through the meshing of the threads (29a and 26b). The faucet body (15) can be disposed in a different position by separating the control knob (16) and the faucet body (15) and connecting them to the ends (17a and 17b) of a removable control cable (17), and by mounting the control knob (16) on the lavatory sink (9) and so on.

    • In a history display method, positional information and type information are extracted from nodes to be displayed on respective metaphors, thereby allowing a user to intuitively comprehend the nodes in a sense of a map of routes followed among information sources. The history holding section 101 reads a history indicating the routes followed by user from the memory unit 105 and holds the history. The history geographical analyzing section 102 analyzes geographical information contained in the history. The history managing section 103 controls the result of the analysis of the history. The history display section 104 displays the history analysis result by use of metaphor display along with a node connection relationship. The novel constitution provides the user with a new clue namely geographical information for accessing desired nodes and displays the history on a map metaphor, thereby allowing the user to intuitively comprehend the nodes in a sense of a map of routes followed among information sources.

    • A device for trapping insects such as mosquitoes efficiently by gathering and concentrating them and conducting them into a suction inlet. The insect trapping device comprises: a carriage; a post standing on the carriage; a housing bulging forward over the post for sucking and trapping an insect; a suction inlet formed in the bottom face of the front of the housing; and an attractive element disposed below the suction inlet and on the carriage for attracting the insect. A gas cylinder is housed in the post and contains an attractive gas to be emitted from the attractive element. The attractive element is an upward protrusion with a black surface. An ultraviolet emitter is arranged near the suction inlet and emits a ray downward of the housing.

    • When various pieces of information relating to a particular page are received, pieces of link information (or items) respectively indicating a link relationship between the particular page and a reference page are extracted from the pieces of information, a positional relationship among the items is managed in a link managing unit, and a two-dimensional map indicating a relative positional relationship between each pair of items is prepared according to the positional relationship among the items in a two-dimensional map preparing unit. Also, an image of the pieces of information is prepared in an image preparing unit, and the image in which the items are included is displayed on an image displaying unit. Thereafter, when a user input an instruction indicating a change of a remarked item, a particular item placed on an upper, lower, right or left side of the remarked item is automatically specified according to the two-dimensional map and is selected. Therefore, a desired item can be easily selected without strictly specifying a position of the desired item.
