    • An exhaust gas purification system for an engineering machine is capable of avoiding decreases in working efficiency during regeneration control by burning off a deposit of particulate matter from a filter efficiently during a work pause time. An operating section 17 of a display monitor 16 is used to set a work pause time and a work pause switch 13 notifies a vehicle body control unit 21 that the hydraulic excavator has entered a work pause state. In response, the vehicle body control unit 21 calculates the time required for a regenerating device to burn off the current amount of particulate matter deposited on the filter, and when the calculated time is longer than the preset work pause time, a regeneration controller 4a of an engine control unit 4 is activated, and a solenoid control valve 15 is switched to a closed position during the preset work pause time.

    • An exhaust gas post-treatment system for a vehicle is provided, which in the course of regeneration ascertains whether or not there is any object approaching a body of the vehicle from behind. A filter is arranged in an exhaust passage of an engine to trap PM therein. A trapped and deposited PM amount sensing device senses a deposited amount of PM deposited in the filter. A fuel injector burns and removes PM deposited in the filter to conduct regeneration of the filter. A rearward monitoring camera monitors a scene rearward of a vehicle body. A display module displays monitoring information from the rearward monitoring camera, and a controller having a regeneration processing unit executes control processing to actuate the fuel injector and to perform regeneration. The controller includes a display continuation processing unit for executing control processing such that during the regeneration by the fuel injector, the monitoring information from the rearward monitoring camera is continuously displayed on a display screen of the display module.

    • An engine control system includes pressure sensors (73, 74), position sensors (75, 76), pressure sensors (77, 78), a target revolution speed modification value computing unit (90), and a modification value adder (70r). A target revolution speed NR2 for use in control is computed based on changes of status variables such that the target revolution speed NR2 increases from the target revolution speed NR1 applied from an input unit (71), and then moderately returns to the target revolution speed NR1. In accordance with the computed target revolution speed NR2 for use in control, a target fuel injection amount FN1 is computed and a fuel injection amount is controlled. As a result, a drop of an engine revolution speed attributable to an abrupt increase of an engine load can be suppressed without sacrificing the work efficiency, and lowering of durability caused by an excessive increase of the engine revolution speed can be prevented.

    • An exhaust gas treatment apparatus for a working machine is provided to reliably prevent a specific process that raises the exhaust temperature of an exhaust gas treatment section from being carried out during switching operation of a directional control valve. The apparatus includes: a directional control valve that controls the flow of pressure oil supplied to an actuator; a pilot pump that supplies pressure oil to an operating device operated to switch the directional control valve; an open/close valve arranged downstream of the directional control valve; a control valve that controls the open/close valve; a lock valve arranged between the pilot pump and the operating device; a detecting section that detects when a specific process that raises the exhaust temperature of an exhaust gas treatment section becomes necessary, and outputs the corresponding detection signal; a controller that controls the control valve; and a pipe for performing a process of setting the open/close valve to an open position in accordance with the pilot pressure oil supplied from the pilot pump.
