    • In an imaging device that generates a correction image by performing, on the basis of shake information on a target image, shake correction processing on the target image when a correction instruction is issued by a user while the target image is displayed on a display unit, and that displays the corrected image on the display unit, preceding correction performs the shake correction processing before the issuing of the correction instruction. To suppress an increase in power consumption, due to the preceding correction, however, the preceding correction is not performed when the amount of camera shake of a target image is determined to be too small by referring to the amount of shake of a target image. Moreover, the frequency of the issuing of correction instructions for a target image in the past is referenced, and in a case where the frequency is low, the preceding correction is not performed.

    • An imaging device includes: a tracking processing portion which tracks a tracking target on a series of frame images based on an output signal of an image sensor; a tracking reliability evaluation portion which, based on the output signal of the image sensor, evaluates a degree of reliability of tracking by the tracking processing portion, and classifies the degree into one of a plurality of levels; and a display portion which displays the series of frame images. A tracking target icon corresponding to a tracking target and a level icon indicating an evaluated degree of reliability are displayed on a display screen. A degree of reliability is classified into one of a plurality of levels and indicated by the level icon. The tracking target icon is expressed by using the same color as that of (the clothes of) the tracking target.

    • An image processing apparatus includes a fetcher. A fetcher fetches an original image. A first converter converts the original image fetched by the fetcher into a first recording image. A second converter converts the original image fetched by the fetcher into a second recording image, in association with the converting process of the first converter.
