    • A moving apparatus for a load lifts the load by the torque of a motor, and balances and holds the same with the aid of a mechanical brake when the apparatus stops. A timing device is incorporated in brake control so that when the apparatus stops in response to a signal indicating that a zero speed is designated, the mechanical brake is operated with a time lag after the receipt of the signal and, as soon as the brake is applied, the power supply to the motor is cut off. This arrangement remarkably reduces the impact of stopping upon the mechanical brake and drive, lessens the wear of the brake, permits reduction in size of the components and extends the service life of the components, thus providing an apparatus which saves power in comparison with conventional equipment.

    • A fuse includes: a first connecting terminal to be connected to a power source; a second connecting terminal to be connected to a load; a third connecting terminal to be connected to a relay control circuit; a fuse element having one end to be connected to the first connecting terminal; and a semiconductor relay directly mounted on the second connecting terminal. The semiconductor relay is a relay circuit switching between conducting and non-conducting states of a connection between its own drain and source electrodes, according to control signals inputted to the own gate electrode. The drain, source and gate electrodes are electrically connected to the other end of the fuse element, the second connecting terminal and the third connecting terminal, respectively. The first to third connecting terminals, the fuse element and the semiconductor relay are formed in an integral structure with a mold resin sealing portion.

    • There are provided a guide route search device and a guide route search method for searching a guide route via a plurality of points as well as a computer program for realizing the method. A guide route satisfying the route point condition such as a stay time at each point is searched. According to another aspect of the invention, after searching a guide route, an operator can perform a correction such as addition, deletion, or modification of the route points or rearrangement of the arrival order at the points. It is possible to judge whether the guide route after the correction satisfies the route point condition. According to still another aspect of the invention, a guide route is superimposed together with the current position on the map image. The map color and/or brightness is changed according to the arrival time at a route point.
