    • When a three-dimensional structure is formed by welding a plurality of members, accurate welding can be performed matching the three-dimensional shape. The teaching data consisting of the three-dimensional position at each of the welding points determined on each of the welding lines at a predetermined spacing on the basis of the design data of the three-dimensional structure is stored in a memory 18. A laser slit light sensor (a laser slit light emitting section 12 and a CD camera 13) is controlled by a total controller 17 via a camera controller 14 to photograph the welding point in order to obtain the image data of the welding point. An image processing apparatus 16 processes the image data to determine the amount of deviation from the design data of welding points. The total controller modify the teaching data on the basis of the amount of deviation from the design data of welding points to establish the modified teaching data and controls a welding head so that it moves according to the modified teaching data.

The switch is provided with a flow table which manages flows registered from a controller, and a flow table reading section which reads corresponding data, a flow table control section which performs processing of addition, deletion and modification of a flow entry, and a platform function managing section which determine whether an object flow entry is valid or invalid according to an inquiry from the flow table control section. The flow table has a normal flow table and a save flow table. A valid flow entry which conforms to configuration data of the switch is registered on the normal flow table. An invalid flow entry which does not conform to the configuration data of the switch is registered on the save flow table.

    • A frequency modulating device includes a frequency generator for generating a frequency-modulated, first carrier and an input terminal to which a non-modulated second carrier is input. An amplifier amplifies the second carrier. A frequency converter receives the first and second carriers for producing an intermediate frequency signal and feeds the intermediate frequency signal to an output terminal. A band-pass filter limits the frequency band of the intermediate frequency signal to output a band-limited signal. A calculator calculates the spectrum distribution of the band-limited signal. The frequency generator, input terminal, amplifier, frequency converter and output terminal are included in a semiconductor device constructed on a semiconductor wafer in the form of integrated circuit.

    • A local oscillator circuit has a control loop that locks the oscillation of a voltage-controlled oscillator at a programmable frequency. The control loop includes a voltage generator that generates a control voltage for the voltage-controlled oscillator, and a current generator that generates a current to raise and lower the control voltage. The magnitude of the current is switched according to the programmed frequency. The magnitude of the current can thereby be adjusted so that the local oscillator circuit achieves lock within a predetermined time, without the need for analog comparison of the control voltage.
