摘要： A power storage device includes an alternating current (AC) power source, a field effect transistor (FET), a capacitor bank, a direct current (DC) fixing heater, a step-down chopper circuit, and an output control unit. The FET switches between a first path and a second path to supply power from the AC power source in combination with a diode and an IGBT. The capacitor bank is arranged on the first path, and includes capacitor cells. The DC fixing heater is arranged on the second path. The step-down chopper circuit is arranged on the first path, and changes a voltage value of power supplied from the AC power source. The output control unit controls, when power is supplied to the first path, controls the step-down chopper circuit to change a voltage value based on a charging voltage of the capacitor cells.

摘要： In the image formation apparatus, an active filter converts an AC power supply supplied from an AC power supply to a DC voltage, and first and second DC-DC converters convert the DC voltage converted by the active filter to voltages at predetermined levels and respectively supplies the voltages to an image forming engine and an engine control unit. A power supply control unit stops the operation of the first DC-DC converter in order to allow the second DC-DC converter to continue supply of the voltage to the engine control unit when disconnection of the AC power supply is detected.

A rectifying element is connected between the first and second power sources to prevent electric current from flowing through the second power source when only the first power source is active. The switch is opened to prevent current flow through the resistor when only the second power supply is active.

摘要： According to an aspect of the present invention, a power supply device includes: a DC power supply that outputs a DC voltage; an AC power supply that outputs any one of the DC voltage and a superimposed voltage being the DC voltage with an AC voltage superimposed thereon; and a bypass capacitor that charges a part of a voltage that is output from the AC power supply. The DC power supply starts outputting the DC voltage in a constant voltage mode and, when a predetermined condition is satisfied, switches from the constant voltage mode to a constant current mode to output the DC voltage in the constant current mode.
