摘要： A developing apparatus detachably mountable to an electrophotographic image forming apparatus having a latent image forming unit provided below a photosensitive drum in the gravitational direction, includes a first regulating member for regulating the developer from flying along an axial longitudinal of the developing roller, and a second regulating member for regulating the developer from flying at the axial longitudinal end of the developing roller. The developer flying in a longitudinal mid-area of the developing roller is regulated by the first regulating member, while the developer falling or flying from the both ends of the first regulating member is regulated by the second regulating member. As a result, contamination in the image forming apparatus caused by the developer falling and flying from the photosensitive drum, the developing roller, a developing blade, and a sealing member of a developing end is reduced.

The high-strength composition iron powder is press-formed and sintered at a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of Cu to produce a high-strength sintered part having a tensile strength of 580 MPa or higher without using expensive alloying elements such as Ni and Mo.
