    • The present invention concerns a process for oxidative coloring keratin fibers especially human hair wherein a pretreatment is applied onto hair prior to application of oxidative coloring agent. Accordingly, present invention is a process for oxidative dyeing of keratin fibers especially human hair wherein an aqueous composition comprising at least one inorganic salt catalyzing and/or effecting the oxidative color development reaction from oxidative dye precursors is applied onto wet or dry hair and optionally rinsed off, and subsequently an aqueous composition comprising at least one oxidative dye precursor, optionally at least one coupling agent and at least one oxidizing agent is applied onto hair and after processing of 5 to 45 min with or without use of heat, preferably at a temperature range between 20 and 45° C., rinsed off from hair.

    • A method levels hair color, especially lighter colored hair or including lightened streaks or bleached streaks or bleached as a whole and after certain period of time contrast—difference in color—between the re-growth and formerly lightened parts is clearly visible. The method comprises at least two parts wherein one part being the part not closer to scalp which is artificially color changed to a lighter color by means of lightening and/or coloring and/or bleaching than the other part closer to scalp which is preferably undamaged and has its natural color, wherein hair is optionally shampooed and optionally towel dried and the part directly at the scalp, preferably undamaged and preferably has its natural color, is applied a composition resulting from mixing two compositions, A and B, prior to application.

    • A composition and method oxidative colors hair based on at least one oxidative dye precursor and having effervescent properties. An aqueous oxidative hair dyeing composition resulting from mixing two aqueous compositions A and B wherein the mixed composition has a pH below or equal to 7.0, preferably is in the range of 2 to 7.0, more preferably 3 to 7. Composition A comprises at least one oxidizing agent and at least one acidic compound and has a pH between 2 and 5, and composition B comprises at least one oxidative dye precursor, optionally at least one coupling agent, optionally at least one direct dye, at least one CO2 releasing compound and has a pH between 8 and 11.
