    • A method, system and computer program in a software framework for enabling controlled communication between a generic application on the software framework and a service application in a second environment. An access request is transmitted by the generic application to an interface provision unit. The request includes an identity of the generic application. An instant interface is provided by the interface provision unit to the second environment. The instant interface is determined by the access request and dedicated for the generic application. A response is returned by the interface provision unit to the generic application including an address to the instant interface. Thereby the instant interface permits controlled communication between the generic application and the service application, thus enabling the new controlled communication without changes of the second environment.

    • A mobile electronic terminal includes a context-activity tracking module, a recommendation module, and a user interface. The context-activity tracking module detects defined contexts, identifies associations between occurrence of the contexts and activities performed by a user of the mobile electronic terminal, and records information in a context-activity repository identifying the associations. The recommendation module identifies a present occurrence of a context that is associated with a previous performance of at least one activity identified by the information in the context-activity repository, and generates a recommendation for the at least one activity that can be performed by the user. The user interface communicates the recommendation for the at least one activity to the user, and to receive an activation response from the user. Related context activity repository nodes and methods by a mobile electronic terminal are disclosed.

    • Search processes are improved by modeling a mobile device user's context for a particular mobile search activity. Activity data characterizing usage of the mobile communications device is collected. This data may include the user's usage of the music and video player, including the types of media and specific titles, as well as activity data related to phone calls and other communications activities. The activity information is used by a predictive model to predict search parameters based on recent activity data. The predictive model can provide suggested search parameters, based on the user's recent activity as well as on search-specific user input. In some cases, the predictive model may be used to re-order the search results returned from a conventional search engine, based on the collected activity data.
