摘要： A beverage dispensing system and method for dispensing a beverage comprising water from a water source. Some embodiments of the beverage system can include a housing, an inlet adapted to be coupled to the water source, a concentrate source containing concentrate, a dispensing outlet, a fluid line, and a valve. The dispensing outlet can dispense at least one of water and the concentrate. The fluid line can fluidly couple the water source and the dispensing outlet. The valve can be positioned to supply any desired amount of concentrate in a range of concentrate amounts from the concentrate source to the fluid line. The range of concentrate amounts can correspond to a range of water amounts flowing through the fluid line to produce a corresponding range of beverage amounts dispensed from the dispensing outlet.

摘要： A vessel for the preparation of heated water or other liquid based material includes a container for the liquid, an electric heater and a temperature sensing probe mounted through a wall or base of the container. The probe includes an efficient heat transferring structure in direct thermal contact with and wet by the liquid inside the container. An electrical sensor within the probe is an intimate thermal contact with the efficient heat transfer structure and has electrical properties which directly correlate with the temperature of the heat transferring structure. The heat transferring structure is attached to a supporting structure mounted to the wall or base by an elastomeric efficient thermal insulating material held in compression to provide physical support for the probe and to seal the wall from leaking and to insure that the sensor is primarily thermally responsive to the temperature of the heat transferring surface and to the liquid but is thermally insulated from variations in the temperature of the supporting wall or base of the container.

A layer of filter cloth can optionally be placed over the drain gravel. This device will be manufactured in variety of sizes and shapes and made from several different materials. The device has the unique ability of being capable of filtering low flow water runoff while allowing high volume to pass through with the added benefit of not retaining water that can become a mosquito breeding ground.

The anchor has length dimension extending from a first later edge to a second lateral edge and a width dimension extending from a front side to a rear side. The length dimension is elongated with respect to the width dimension. The tether is secured to the anchor such that a longitudinal axis of the anchor extending through the first and second lateral edges forms an angle with a horizonal plane between 0° and 45° when the anchor is hung freely from the tether.

摘要： A method of reducing or eliminating electrical shorts in a metal layer when producing laser patterned metal disposed on an intermediate layer that is disposed on a substrate, such as for example, a silicon wafer, includes forming the intermediate layer from a material wherein the difference between the coefficient of thermal expansion of the intermediate layer and the coefficient of thermal expansion of the metal is less than the difference between the coefficient of thermal expansion of silicon dioxide and the coefficient of thermal expansion of aluminum. In one embodiment, a layer of alumina is deposited on a silicon wafer, a layer of aluminum is deposited on the alumina, and at least portions of the aluminum are removed by laser etching to produce one or more electrically separated structures from the aluminum layer.
