    • According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes: an outer case formed of a thin metal plate and having a front plate and side plates surrounding the front plate, the side plate having a protrusion formed by bending an edge of the side plates inward of the outer case to prevent exposing the edge to exterior of the electronic apparatus; a middle member formed of a resin material and formed correspondingly to an inner surface of the outer case, the middle member having a side member that confronts the side plate, the side member having a retaining portion to engage with the protrusion; and a casing having a support portion and configured to confront an inside of the side member to keep the protrusion engaged with the retaining portion by preventing the side member from deflection.

    • An electronic device having at least a loop-shaped electric conductor generating electric power by electromagnetic induction is provided. The electronic device includes a voltage-detecting unit, a voltage-comparing unit and a separating unit. The voltage-detecting unit is configured to detect a voltage generated in the electric conductor by the electromagnetic induction. The voltage-comparing unit is configured to make a comparison between the voltage detected by the voltage-detecting unit and a predetermined reference voltage and determining whether the voltage detected by the voltage-detecting unit exceeds the predetermined reference voltage. The separating unit is configured to break an electric connection between the electronic conductor and an electronic circuit connecting to the electric conductor when the voltage-comparing unit determines that the voltage detected by the voltage-detecting unit exceeds the predetermined reference voltage.

    • A method of analyzing transmission characteristics of signal wiring in a circuit apparatus including the signal wiring and insulative layer is disclosed. The transmission characteristics are analyzed by dividing the circuit apparatus with a mesh and applying electromagnetic analysis method to each unit of the mesh. The method includes the steps of: extracting signal wiring data from 3 dimensional data of the circuit apparatus; designating a sparse mesh region in which the mesh can be made sparse based on the extracted signal wiring data and the 3 dimensional data; and generating sparse mesh in the sparse mesh region. Since the sparse mesh region is designated based on the sizes of the signal wiring and the insulative layer and on the electric properties of the insulative layer, a region that affects the transmission characteristics of the signal wiring only to a small extent can be designated as the sparse mesh region.
