    • A servo pattern writing method of writing a servo pattern for the positioning control of a magnetic head on a magnetic disk comprises changing the rotating speed of the magnetic disk with the magnetic head positioned at one or more proper radial positions with respect to the magnetic disk. The rotating speed of the magnetic disk is changed on the basis of the magnitude of a synchronous vibration synchronous with the rotation of the magnetic disk. Writing current for writing a servo pattern is set according to the change of the rotating speed of the magnetic disk. The STW rotating speed is changed according to the change of the radial position of the magnetic head to reduce the intensity of the vibration that is generated during a servo pattern writing operation to a value meeting a positioning level. The servo track writing operation can be achieved at a low cost.

    • A junction box whose total size is reduced without reducing the areas necessary for accommodating fuse receptacles and relay receptacles. The body of the junction box is preferably a flat rectangular parallelepiped. On the first face thereof, there are integral relay receptacles, preferably adjacent one side in a single vertical row. On the opposite face, there is a plurality of fuse receptacles located adjacent the opposite side of the junction box and thereby spaced apart laterally from the relay receptacles. Those fuses which are relatively near to the relay receptacles are for apparatus which is not operated continuously, such as a rear windshield wiper, cigarette lighter, etc. On the four sides of the body are provided the locking members with which the junction box is fixed to the base, usually the chassis of an automotive vehicle.

    • An image blur correction apparatus includes a correction lens, a first guide section, a second guide section, a first driving section, a second driving section, and a position detection section. In the image blur correction apparatus, the first and second driving section has first and second coils, a magnet to apply magnetic force to the first and second coils, and a yoke to support the magnet. The two coils are disposed in an intersecting and overlapping relationship with each other such that the direction of propelling force generated by the first coil and the direction of propelling force generated by the second coil are directed to the first direction and the second direction, respectively. The position detection section detects the magnetic force of the magnet to detect the position of the correction lens.
