    • A bearing unit includes: a radial bearing for bearing in a circumferential direction of a shaft; a thrust bearing for bearing one end in a thrust direction of the shaft; a housing provided on the outside of the radial bearing and the thrust bearing and filled with a viscous fluid; a seal member united with the housing so as to contain the radial bearing and the thrust bearing in a sealed state, the seal member having a shaft passing hole through which the shaft is passed; and a passage for discharging air present inside the housing, the passage formed between the housing and the radial bearing, and the passage providing communication between the one end side and the other end side in the thrust direction of the shaft projecting from the radial bearing, wherein the cross-sectional shape of the passage is a shape including at least one acute angle.

    • Herein disclosed a bearing unit including: a dynamic pressure fluid bearing adapted to receive a rotary shaft inserted thereinto; a unit main body surrounding the outside of the fluid bearing; a lid member covering an upper opening of the unit main body with the rotary shaft inserted into the dynamic fluid bearing; lubricating oil poured into the unit main body; and an oil thrower ring rotating together with the rotary shaft in a space defined between an upper end of the fluid bearing and the lid member; wherein a gap defined between the lid member and the oil thrower ring is tapered in cross-section so as to be progressively reduced in the distance therebetween as the gap is spaced apart from the center of the rotary shaft.

    • A bearing unit wherein a radial bearing for bearing a shaft in the circumferential direction of the shaft and a metallic housing provided with an attaching section are integrated with each other by molding, a resin molded body formed by the molding is so formed as to sealingly contain the radial bearing therein and is provided on one end side in the axial direction thereof with a shaft passing hole through which to pass the shaft, and the inside of the resin molded body is filled with a viscous fluid, whereby the viscous fluid such as a lubricating oil can be prevented from leaking, and the bearing unit can be attached to an object easily and assuredly.
