摘要： A method of electrical isolation for printed circuit board gasketing is disclosed for enabling gasketing to overlay plated through holes without shorting out thereto. The method of electrical isolation for printed circuit board gasketing includes counterboring at a controlled width to a controlled depth those plated through holes underlying the gasketing. The method provides the advantage of being able to overlay gasketing on both surfaces of a printed circuit board mid-plane. The method of electrical isolation for printed circuit board gasketing is particularly useful for overcoming the additional material requirements and processing steps of electrical isolation known in the art.

摘要： An optical networking circuit pack is described. The circuit pack houses a plurality of pluggable electronic modules and includes an enclosure panel, a plurality of module identifiers, and a fiber management assembly. The enclosure panel has at least two collinear openings to receive electronic modules. The module identifiers reside on the enclosure panel and are proximate to a respective opening. Each module identifier is oriented at an angle with respect to an edge of the enclosure panel to facilitate association of pluggable electronic module with the respective opening regardless of whether the circuit pack is oriented in a horizontal position or a vertical position. The fiber management assembly is disposed at an end of the circuit pack to facilitate routing of optical fibers.

Each of the pins terminates in a fastener for attachment to the connecting device adjacent the connector. The guide also has a guiding member. The guiding member has a groove which is slidably engagable with an edge of a circuit card. A pair of parallel channels is formed in the guiding member for reception of the alignment pins such that when the alignment pins are received in the channels and attached to the connecting device, the groove is aligned for reception of a circuit card to be connected to the connecting device. The guiding member can provide support for the received circuit card.
