摘要： A manual adjustable pedal assembly includes a throttle pedal assembly having a throttle pedal adjustment mechanism and a brake pedal assembly having a brake pedal adjustment mechanism. The manual adjustable pedal assembly also includes a manual adjusting means having a rotatable adjustment means, an outer ring gear disposed in a center portion of the rotatable adjustment means, and a first inner gear and a second inner gear operatively in communication with the outer ring gear. The manual adjustable pedal assembly further includes a throttle drive cable, wherein one end of the throttle drive cable is operatively secured to the first inner gear, and the other end of the drive cable is secured to the throttle adjustment mechanism. The manual adjustable pedal assembly still further includes a brake drive cable, wherein one end of the brake drive cable is operatively secured to the second inner gear, and the other end of the drive cable is secured to the brake adjustment mechanism, for simultaneous adjustment of both the brake pedal and the throttle pedal.

摘要： A system for using a separate fixed or massive object to prevent theft of a motorcycle, the system comprising a frame element including a hollow enclosure having a wall with an orifice therethrough; a reel rotatably mounted in the enclosure; a flexible electrically conductive sheathed cable with a proximal end wound onto the reel and a distal end with a male connector; a control mechanism having an alarm mechanism, a female connector, circuitry to connect the female connector to the proximal end of the cable, to detect presence or absence of continuity between the proximal end and distal end of the cable, and to cause the alarm mechanism to be activated when continuity between the proximal end and distal end of the cable is broken; a locking mechanism having a locked configuration wherein the male connector is prevented from being withdrawn from the female connector, and an unlocked configuration wherein the male connector is allowed to be withdrawn from the female connector; and a power source structured to provide electrical energy to the various components of the system as needed.

The shaft is provided with a plurality of features for preventing rotation of the molded gear on the shaft, the features being in the form of axial-direction flats, the number of such flats being greater than the prior art two (double D) and preferably four (quadral D). In a four-flat mold and shaft arrangement having a single, axial mold gate, longitudinal knit lines between the quadral D's are virtually non-existent, and polymer in these regions is substantially as strong as polymer elsewhere in the casting.
