    • The present disclosure relates to a detecting circuit for a circuit breaker, comprises: a detection sensor configured to output a detection signal by detecting a voltage or a current on an alternating current electric power circuit; a low pass filter configured to output a signal from the detection sensor after removing a high frequency component from the signal; an offset remover configured to output a signal from the low pass filter after removing a direct current offset from the signal; an amplifier configured to amplify a signal from the offset remover, and to output the signal; and a comparator configured to output a breaking control signal such that the circuit breaker operates to a circuit breaking position, if the detection signal input to the amplifier is equal to or larger than a reference voltage.

For this purpose, a RMS detector according to the present disclosure may include a plurality of voltage/current sensing units configured to detect a voltage or current shaped analog signal for an arbitrary load; a plurality of square circuit units configured to compute square function units, respectively, based on a voltage output from the plurality of voltage/current sensing units; a summing circuit unit configured to sum a plurality of output voltages output from the plurality of square circuit units, respectively; and a root circuit unit configured to compute a RMS value based on a voltage output from the summing circuit unit.

    • An electric leakage determination circuit for an electric leakage circuit breaker according to the invention comprises a zero current transformer on an alternating-current circuit to provide an electric leakage detection signal upon occurrence of electric leakage, a filter circuit unit connected to an output terminal of the zero current transformer to remove noise, and an electric leakage determination circuit unit comparing a voltage value of the electric leakage detection signal with a first reference voltage value, to be charged with electric charges when the voltage value is not smaller than the first reference voltage value and discharge electric charges when being smaller than the first reference voltage value, and comparing a charged voltage value with a second reference voltage value to determine occurrence of electric leakage when the charged voltage value is not smaller than the second reference voltage value.
