The solar cell includes a semiconductor substrate containing a crystalline silicon material, a first conductive region on a back surface of the semiconductor substrate, a second conductive region positioned in a portion except the first conductive region from the back surface of the semiconductor substrate and having a conductive type opposite the first conductive region, a first electrode connected to the first conductive region, and a second electrode connected to the second conductive region. The back surface of the semiconductor substrate is divided into a first area extending in one direction at an edge of the entire back surface of the semiconductor substrate and a second area occupying a portion except the first area from the entire back surface of the semiconductor substrate.
