Thus, a bias signal of the sensing switching element is delivered through the data line applying the data signal, so that a manufacturing process of the EPD panel may be simplified.

A source driver re-outputs the first data signal to a source wiring during a second time interval which is delayed from the first time interval by a predetermined time interval. A gate driver outputs a gate signal to the gate wiring. The gate signal includes a first gate pulse outputted to the gate wiring during the first time interval and a second gate pulse outputted to the gate wiring during the second time interval. Therefore, the data voltage is re-outputted enhancing a response time of the liquid crystal molecules. Furthermore, the response time of the liquid crystal molecules is enhanced, thus improving a display quality of a moving image.

摘要： In a display device and a method of driving the display device each having an improved image display quality, the display device includes the display panel assembly, a light emitting unit and a control unit. The display panel assembly has a plurality of unit pixels and displays an image. The light emitting unit is disposed under the display panel assembly to supply light to the display panel assembly, and has a plurality of light emitting diodes (“LEDs”) corresponding to a unit pixel group including a given number of the unit pixels. The control unit is electrically connected to the display panel assembly and the light emitting unit, and controls the unit pixels by arbitrary regions and the LEDs by arbitrary regions. Thus, a contrast ratio of the display device is increased to improve image display quality.

摘要： A liquid crystal display panel includes a pixel having a switching element electrically connected to a gate wiring and a source wiring and a liquid crystal capacitor electrically connected to the switching element. A timing controller receives a mode selecting signal corresponding to an impulsive driving mode, and outputs a first common voltage corresponding to the impulsive driving mode. A common voltage converter converts the first common voltage into a second common voltage of analog type, and outputs the second common voltage to the liquid crystal capacitor. Therefore, in the LCD apparatus operated in an impulsive driving method, a common voltage is selectively applied to the liquid crystal display panel, thus improving a display quality.
