摘要： The ink occlusion material for writing utensils according to the present invention comprises a fiber bundle of a mixture of an acrylic synthetic fiber and at least one hydrophobic fiber selected from the group consisting of polyester fibers and polypropylene fibers in a weight ratio of 20 to 70: 80 to 30. The two fibers are drawn so as to show a sea-island form in the cross section of said fiber bundle and spot-adhered by the partial melt-adhesion of the acrylic synthetic fiber and the fiber bundle is twisted at a rate of 1 to 30 T/M.

摘要： According to the present invention, the ink occlusion material for writing utensils comprises a fiber bundle of a mixture of (a) and acrylic synthetic fiber and (b) at least one hydrophobic fiber selected from the group consisting of polyester fibers and polypropylene fibers in a weight ration of 20 to 70:80 to 30. This compound for organic electroluminescent device is a bipyrimidyl compound which has a basic skeleton of 2,2′-bipyrimidyl and is substituted by an aromatic hydrocarbon group, an aromatic heterocyclic group, or a substituted amino group. The aforementioned organic electroluminescent device has a light-emitting layer between an anode and a cathode which are piled one upon another on a substrate and the light-emitting layer contains a phosphorescent dopant and the aforementioned bipyrimidyl compound as a host material.

The organic EL device is constituted of an anode, organic layers containing a phosphorescent light-emitting layer, and a cathode piled one upon another on a substrate and a phosphine oxide derivative represented by general formula (1) is contained in a phosphorescent light-emitting layer, an electron-transporting layer, a hole-blocking layer, or an exciton-blocking layer. In general formula (1), L1 is a direct bond or an aromatic group with a valence of 1-3 and Ar1 is an aromatic group. The two Ar1 groups linked to the same nitrogen atom may form a nitrogen heterocycle and may further form a fused ring together with the said nitrogen heterocycle.

摘要： An adaptor for using a mini-sized memory card in an appliance having a slot for a regular-sized memory card is provided. This adaptor is formed with a base and a cover made of a resin material, a plurality of electrically conductive members fixed to the base so as to electrically contact a plurality of I/O terminals of the memory card in the adapter, and a metal shell held between the base and the cover. A memory-card storage room is provided by a space surrounded by the metal shell and the base. By use of the metal shell, it is possible to improve rigidity of the adaptor, obtain a reliable compatibility, and prevent that the thin, mini-sized memory card is damaged.
