    • A tube clip is designed to be attachable to collapsible tubes having a discharge nozzle at the top end and a permanent closure at the bottom end. To attach the tube clip to the collapsible tubes, a V-shape clamp of the tube clip is compressed by the pressure of the fingers to grip the permanently closed bottom end of the collapsible tube. The closed jaw of the V-shaped clamp of the tube clip prevents the collapsible tube from sliding out of the tube clip. For easy dispensing of the tube contents, the bottom end of the collapsible tubes will be rolled up around the tube clip with two protruding clasps, and then the two protruding clasps will be folded over the newly coiled emptied end portion of the collapsible tube to keep the coiled emptied end portion from unwinding. The two protruding retainer clasps are opened, before each roll up, and folded over the newly coiled emptied end portion of the collapsible tubes as the contents of the tubes are continuously dispensed, usually in small amounts at a time.

    • A mail delivery indicator system comprises a minimum number of parts, namely, an indicator flagstaff with a flagged end and a weighted end, a sidewall mounting bracket and a latch element. A pivotal bolt attaches the indicator flagstaff to a side wall mounting bracket, which is then attached to a side wall of a mailbox. When the mailbox front door is opened, the latch element releases the flagged end to traverse rotationally backward away from the mailbox front door by the force of gravity associated with the weighted end of the indicator flagstaff. A weight element pivotally attached to the weighted end of the indicator flagstaff controls the traversing motion of the indicator flagstaff to a generally vertical signaling position to display the indicator flag above the mailbox, visible from a variety of directions. One can use one hand to lower the flagged end to the latch element on the mailbox front door to reset the mail delivery indicator system.

    • An edge-lit lighted panel for bulletin boards comprising a generally planar rectangular panel of light-transmitting material having a top surface and bottom surface surrounded by four edge surfaces, and at least one linear light source imbedded in and sealed along at least one edge surface. The linear light source includes a longitudinal semi-circular reflector to direct the light from the linear light source toward the adjacent edge surface to increase the amount of light entering the edge surface of the planar rectangular light-transmitting panel. The linear light source and the longitudinal semi-circular reflector are installed inside an edge trim housing that is configured to be attached to the edge surface of the planar rectangular light-transmitting panel. In order to maximize illumination, the remaining three edge surfaces of the planar rectangular light-transmitting panel are covered with light-reflecting tapes to ensure maximum reflection of the light therein and are protected by stainless steel trim frames. Opaque pigment markers are required to achieve the best illuminated results of messages written on the edge-lit lighted panels. The repeated reflection and refraction of the rays of light within the light-transmitting panel illuminate the traces of the opaque pigment markers, and make such traces appear bright and glowing to the eyes of observers.

    • A self-contained portable solar power supply system is specifically designed to convert solar energy into electrical energy, and charge a rechargeable storage battery to energize edge-lit lighted panels as back-lighting devices in the dusk to illuminate advertising graphics and messages installed on waste receptacles disposed on the city street curbs. The stored electrical energy is discharged by a dual control of a 24-hour timer unit and a photo light sensor control unit on a daily basis. To conserve the electrical energy consumption, the photo light sensor control unit is super-imposed as a second control over the time schedule of the 24-hour timer unit to ensure that the electrical energy will be discharged only when the photo light sensor control unit detects the light conditions in the immediate area diminish below a predetermined minimum light level setting. The photo light sensor control unit alleviates the need to reset the 24-hour timer unit as the local sunset time changes year-round. The rechargeable storage battery is protected by a power charge control unit against over-discharging the electrical energy below a predetermined voltage protection level of the rechargeable storage battery.
