    • A speaker comprising a first rod magnet having a longitudinal direction, a second rod magnet having a longitudinal direction parallel with the longitudinal direction of the first rod magnet, a third rod magnet forming a second magnetic gap between it and the first rod magnet, a diaphragm vibrating in the vibrating direction, a housing for storing the first rod magnet, the second rod magnet, the third rod magnet and the diaphragm, and voice coils bonded to the diaphragm and arranged in first and second magnetic gaps. The second rod magnet has a longitudinal direction parallel with the longitudinal direction of the first rod magnet, and has the opposite end faces in the longitudinal direction. The third rod magnet has a longitudinal direction parallel with the longitudinal direction of the first rod magnet, and has the opposite end faces in the longitudinal direction. The diaphragm is located between the first and second rod magnets and between the first and third rod magnets. The housing forms a first space surrounded by one of the opposite end faces of the second rod magnet and one of the opposite end faces of the third rod magnet, and forms a second space surrounded by the other of the opposite end faces of the second rod magnet and the other of the opposite end faces of the third rod magnet. The housing is composed of a nonmagnetic body and supports the outer circumference of the diaphragm. First and second sound radiating holes respectively facing the first and second spaces are formed in the housing. This speaker is thin and can deliver big sound.
