    • A detector of a rotation angle and torque is disclosed. First gear (1) and second gear (2) are coupled to input shaft (4) and output shaft (6) of a torsion-bar unit respectively. First magnet (20a) magnetized in a radius direction is rigidly mounted to first rotor (10) engaging with first gear (1). Second magnet (20b) magnetized in a radius direction is rigidly mounted to second rotor (16) engaging with second gear (3). Circuit board (15) is placed between first rotor (10) and second rotor (16). Circuit board (15) includes first magnetism detecting element (21a) on its first face confronting the first magnet (20a), and also includes second magnetism detecting element (21b) on its second face confronting the second magnet (20b).

    • A torque detector capable of detecting an amount of torque, rotation angle and rotational speed with high resolution. First rotor and second rotor are retained individually in bearings, and they each have a gear on periphery thereof. First magnet and second magnet have pairs of magnetic poles, and disposed to ends of the first rotor and the second rotor respectively. First and second magneto-sensitive elements for detecting magnetic fields produced by the first and the second magnets are placed along an axial direction of the first and the second rotors in a manner to face the first and the second magnets respectively with a predetermined space. An input shaft and an output shaft are in engagement to the first and the second rotors respectively with gears, and the output shaft is connected to the input shaft.

    • A non-contact thermometer uses a pyroelectric infrared sensor which makes it possible to measure temperatures of an object having a large area required to be measured, and at a plurality of points. The thermometer sets up a reference position without using a position detecting switch and also improves the accuracy of measuring the temperature due to its increased amount of incident infrared rays transmitted as a result of reducing the motor speed and extending the time of measurement at the point where infrared rays of the object to be measured is to be detected. The thermometer's stepping motor is fed with its operation step input and brought to a stop at the reference exciting phase of the motor which has been set up in advance. The whole measurement operation thereafter is arranged to proceed, starting from the above exciting phase serving as the reference, at which point the motor was brought to a stop.
