    • A photosensitive sheet favorably employable for covering a pixel sheet is composed mainly of a support and a photosensitive colored resin layer containing a dye whose color disappears by application of heat or light. The coverage of the pixel sheet can be performed by combining the pixel sheet and the photosensitive sheet which has been examined for checking evenness of the surface of the colored resin layer under the condition that the pixels are brought into contact with the colored resin layer to give a combined body; separating the support of the photosensitive sheet from the combined body, leaving the colored resin layer on the pixel sheet; exposing to light the photosensitive colored resin layer on the pixel sheet so as to cure the photosensitive colored resin layer and possibly to make the resin layer colorless; and heating the light-exposed colored resin layer so that the colored resin layer is made colorless or the curing further proceeds.

    • A photosensitive transfer material comprises a temporary substrate having provided thereon an alkali-soluble thermoplastic resin layer, an intermediate layer, and a photosensitive resin layer in this order, the interlaminar adhesion in the transfer material being the smallest at the interface between the thermoplastic resin layer and the temporary substrate. The photosensitive resin layer can be transferred to a permanent substrate without involving failure due to fine dust, air bubbles or unevenness of the permanent substrate. An image can be formed with the transfer material by adhering the transfer material to a permanent substrate at least under heat and, after stripping the temporary substrate, imagewise exposing the photosensitive resin layer to light, and processing the transferred layers to develop the photosensitive resin layer. If the thermoplastic resin layer and the intermediate layer are first removed with a processing method with which the photosensitive resin layer is not substantially developed and then the photosensitive resin layer is developed using a processing solution other than used for revmoving the thermoplastic resin layer and the intermediate layer, excessive fatigue of the developing solution for the photosensitive resin layer and unevenness of development can be prevented.

A cured film of the composition is excellent in flatness, hardness, chemical resistance, transparency, adhesion to a substrate, and suitability for forming a transparent conductive film, e.g., an ITO film, thereon, and is useful as a protective layer for a color filter of liquid crystal display panels.

    • An axial motor includes a rotor arranged between a pair of stators with coils. In the rotor, a plurality of permanent magnets sandwiched between pairs of first magnetic materials and a plurality of second magnetic materials are alternately arranged in a rotation direction while gaps are provided therebetween. Since the permanent magnets are sandwiched by the first magnetic materials in the thus constructed axial motor, a field-weakening control can be performed. Since the second magnetic materials are provided, a reluctance torque can be generated. Further, since the gaps are provided, more magnetic fluxes generated from the permanent magnets can be caused to flow toward the coils. Therefore, the thus constructed axial motor can achieve a higher output, higher torque, higher efficiency, and miniaturization.
