    • A heat exchanger for use as an evaporator, for example, in refrigerators wherein a hydrocarbon refrigerant is used. The heat exchanger comprises a finned zigzag tube 1 comprising a zigzag tube member 2 formed by bending a pipe having no welded seams, the zigzag tube member 2 having at least three straight tube portions 2a arranged from the front rearward at a spacing and parallel to one another, a plurality of first fin groups 3 arranged at a spacing on two adjacent straight tube portions 2a of the zigzag tube member 2 longitudinally of the straight tube portions and each comprising plate fins 5 extending across and fixedly arranged in parallel on the adjacent straight tube portions 2a, and a plurality of second fin groups 4 each comprising plate fins 6 fixedly arranged in parallel on each remaining straight tube portion 2a of the zigzag tube member 2, the second fin groups 4 being arranged at a spacing on the remaining straight tube portion 2a longitudinally thereof so as to be in the same positions as the respective first fin groups 3 with respect to the longitudinally direction of the straight tube portions 2a. The heat exchanger E comprising the finned zigzag tube 1 exhibits the desired refrigeration performance with the leakage of refrigerant diminished.

    • A connector with a fitting adjustment mechanism includes a female or a male connector fitted to a mating connector, a first frame which surrounds the connector and a second frame which surrounds the first frame. The connector has a first mechanism for enabling step-by-step displacement of the connector with respect to the first frame along an X or Y direction within a plane substantially perpendicular to the fitting direction of the connectors, and a second mechanism for enabling step-by-step displacement of the first frame with respect to the second frame along the direction perpendicular to the displaceable direction of the connector.The first mechanism has protrusions on each of the opposite surfaces of the connector and a plurality of recesses provided on each of the opposite inner surfaces of the first frame with which the protrusions are engaged. The second mechanism also has protrusions on each of the outer opposite surfaces of the first frame and a plurality of recesses with which the protrusions are engaged provided on the inner surfaces of the second frame.

    • A combination switch for performing various functions comprises a fixed substrate having an output contact assembly which has a common output contact and other output contacts which are electrically insulated from the common output contact. The switch also comprises a movable substrate having a switch contact assembly which has a common contact and other contacts which are electrically connected to the common contact. A switch lever is for moving the movable substrate with respect to the fixed substrate to shift the switch contact assembly relative to the output contact assembly, thereby selectively connecting the common output contact to the output contacts through the switch contact assembly to supply from the output contact assembly a pattern signal indicative of one of different conductive patterns. A processor judges, in response to the pattern signal, to which function the conductive pattern corresponds and producing an operational signal for performing the indicated function.
