    • A system for implementing a wide-range of glycemic control protocols (e.g., Tight Glycemic Control protocols) in an automated, semi-closed or closed loop manner thereby eliminating common sources of system error is provided herein. More specifically, the system can include a blood glucose measuring device in communication with a wide-range of databases and/or interfaces thereby allowing for typically independent steps such as patient testing, result determination, protocol adjustment (suggestions as well as actual calculations of new dosages), meal information, scheduling of future testing in light of test results, and administration of medicine to be performed automatically in a semi-closed or closed loop manner. Furthermore, the system provides for ultimate flexibility by allowing a protocol administrator to continuously add, subtract, and/or modify various steps of the protocol while maintaining the integrity and safety of the system. Additionally, methods of implementing such glucose control protocols are also provided herein.

    • The present invention provides a light-emitting diode (LED) and a method for manufacturing said LED. The LED is characterized that, the silica gel as the interlayer is provided between the transparent organic material and the chip. The method for manufacturing is characterized that, a gel applying step for applying the silica gel and the solidifying step for solidifying the semi-finished product of LED applied with the silica gel are included prior to the material packaging step for packaging using the transparent organic material. The LED of this invention and the LED manufactured by the method of this invention have no light decay for the low-power, such as Ø5 mm or less LED, and little light decay for the high-power LED, and have the advantages of excellent weathering resistance and low production cost.

    • A driver circuit of an LCDM is disclosed. The driver circuit contains a driving unit and a transformer unit. When the LCDM needs to drive a plurality of inverters, the driving unit sends out a driving voltage in an asynchronous way to drive the transformer unit. The transformer unit amplifies the driving voltage and sends it to the lamps. The invention thus achieves the goal of driving the LCDM using different timings within a work period.
