摘要： This invention relates to a single-hand input keyboard for inputting data into various data processing devices, which can be held and operated by a single hand. The keyboard includes a case having an upper case and a lower case, the upper case having an opening at a central portion thereof, a switch unit mounted in the case, the switch unit having a plurality of button switches facing the opening, and a holder formed in a back face of the case. A plurality of the button switches are arranged so as to be pressed by fingers when the single-hand input keyboard is held by a single hand with the thumb and the palm.

摘要： An automatic article working system particularly suitable for limited production of a variety of articles. The system comprises a plurality of pallets for loading articles to be worked, each of the pallets being used as a member for conveying the articles to be worked between machine, tools, pallet conveyor means, pallet storing means located on both sides of the pallet conveyor means, and pallet transfer means adapted to move a pallet in and out of the pallet storing means. A plurality of machine tools are adapted to work the articles, and manipulators are provided to convey the articles to be worked from a pallet which has been removed from the storage means to the machine tools and to return worked articles back to the pallet. A computer is operatively connected to all of the means to effect control thereof.

摘要： A character generator for a keyboard where the keyboard has keys for entry of characters. Each key is assigned a character and each of at least some of the keys are multiple-character keys assigned multiple characters. The character generator includes a generator for generating one of the characters assigned to each of a sequence of character keys that are entered on the keyboard, there being an ambiguity as to the correct character to be generated when any multiple-character key is entered in the sequence of keys. An ambiguity resolver operates in response to the sequence of character keys that have been entered for resolving the correct character for any of the multiple-character keys in the sequence of keys that are entered.
