    • A reciprocating compressor includes a case to which a suction pipe and a discharge pipe are respectively connected, having a closed space; a reciprocating motor disposed inside the case, for generating a reciprocating force; a compressing unit receiving the reciprocating force generated from the reciprocating motor, for compressing a fluid; and a separation plate for dividing the closed space of the case into a low pressure portion into which a fluid is sucked through the suction pipe and a high pressure portion from which a fluid compressed in the compressing unit is discharged. Accordingly, the reciprocating compressor cuts off vibration generated from the compressing unit and the reciprocating motor and thus reduce the vibration transmitted to the compressor case and other elements so that noise can be reduced, life spans of other elements can be lengthened, and reliability of the compressor can be improved.

    • Disclosed herein is a compressor in which a coil weight is wound plural times on a highly vibrational portion of a discharge pipe to increase the mass of the highly vibrational portion, thereby enabling a vibrating frequency of the discharge pipe to be adjusted to a desired value. With this configuration, there is no need to coil up the discharge pipe plural times differently from the prior art. Thereby, the compressor exhibits an effective interior space utility, minimized malfunction rate, and low manufacturing costs.

    • Disclosed herein is a linear compressor. In the present invention, the configuration that a sealing protrusion is protruded in a sealing part of a cylinder toward an exhale cover leads line contact with the exhale cover and the sealing protrusion of the sealing part. Even though small power is applied to the exhale cover, the exhale cover and the sealing protrusion are closely adhered to each other, thus effectively sealing the exhale cover and the cylinder. Furthermore, as power transmitted from the exhale cover to the cylinder becomes reduced, a transformation of the cylinder can be prevented, and a performance and reliability of the linear compressor can be enhanced.
