    • A slide type communication terminal designed to allow a sliding operation to be smoothly completed by means of a driving unit and a travel-enlarging member. In the communication terminal having a first body and a second body, a driving unit includes a motor and a pinion connected to the motor. A first hinge has a rack gear meshed with the pinion and a travel-enlarging member connected to the rack gear. A second hinge has a contact member protruded therefrom to contact the travel-enlarging member. Rotation of the pinion in response to the drive force of the driving unit is converted into a linear movement of the rack gear, and a distance of the linear movement of the rack gear is enlarged by means of the travel-enlarging member, so that the second body fixed to the second hinge is slid to an enlarged travel distance.

    • An inclined-type mobile communication terminal for opening/closing a main body using a link apparatus is provided. The inclined-type mobile communication terminal includes a first main body, a second main body, a driving unit, and a link unit. The driving unit is fixed to the first main body and provides a driving force required for moving the second main body. The link unit includes a driving link and a driven link. The driving link has its one side fixed to an output terminal of the driving unit and is rotated by the driving force of the driving unit, and has its other side rotatably connected with the second main body to move the second main body. The driven link connects the first and the second main bodies so as to guide a movement of the second main body using rotation of the driving link.

    • A lamp holder capable of minimizing lamp wire breakage, an LCD containing the inventive lamp holder, and a method for using the lamp holder to minimize lamp wire breakage and to facilitate connection of a lamp wire to a lamp are provided. The lamp holder includes: a lamp holder body having a coupling hole into which a lamp is inserted, the coupling hole having a first opening on one surface side and a second opening on a second surface side; a cut-away portion having a predetermined depth in a third surface side; and a stopper adjacent to the cut-away portion in the third surface side. The cut-away portion and the stopper facilitate connection of a lamp wire to a lamp in the lamp holder so as to minimize lamp wire breakage.

    • Disclosed herein is a laser module package and method of manufacturing the laser module package. In the present invention, the optical structure of the laser module package is provided so that a conventional laser diode can be easily coupled to an optical fiber by employing an additional lens (correction lens) behind the laser module. Furthermore, an adjustment device for easily moving the additional lens along an optical axis is employed so that parallel light can be output from the additional lens by utilizing the additional lens and the adjustment device in conjunction with the laser diode from which parallel light is not output.
