摘要： An optical attachment feature of a light-emitting diode (LED) lighting system includes an enclosure, a trim, a reflector, and a diffuser. The enclosure can include an enclosure wall forming a cavity and an enclosure collar having a first profile. The trim can include a trim collar that abuts to the enclosure collar, wherein the trim collar has a second profile. The reflector can include an outer surface, an inner surface having reflective material disposed thereon, and a reflector collar having a first optical attachment mechanism. The diffuser can include a diffuser collar, where the diffuser collar can include a second optical attachment mechanism and a third optical attachment mechanism, where the second optical attachment mechanism can couple to the first optical attachment mechanism, and where the third optical attachment mechanism is disposed within a feature formed by the first profile and the second profile when the enclosure collar is mechanically coupled to the trim collar.

摘要： Splice enclosures for housing wire splice connections in a luminaire are described herein. The splice enclosures may each include a cover that includes one or more tabs extending substantially orthogonal from the cover, and a bottom housing (or body) having a base and two side walls and two end walls. Moreover, at least one of the side walls includes an outer surface having one or more protrusions for engaging the tab(s) of the cover. Additionally, at least one of the end walls includes a wire routing aperture. In some embodiments of the invention the cover may include at least one notched protrusion that aligns with the wire routing aperture to retain wires exiting an end wall of the splice enclosure.

The least one attachment mechanism can removably couple the trim collar to the enclosure collar, where the at least one attachment mechanism includes a back plate that is mechanically coupled to an upper flange and a lower flange, where the upper flange contacts the enclosure collar and the lower flange contacts the trim collar.

摘要： A luminaire includes at least a cover and a mounting plate. The mounting plate includes one or more vertical protrusions and one or more horizontal protrusions that are substantially perpendicular to each other. Further, the mounting plate includes a tab that is substantially perpendicular to the one or more horizontal protrusions. The cover includes a pair of top apertures and a tab aperture. During installation of the luminaire, the cover is hung from the mounting plate by inserting each horizontal protrusion of the mounting plate through the respective top aperture of the cover. Alternatively, the cover is hung from the mounting plate by inserting the tab of the mounting plate through the tab aperture of the cover. After installation, the cover may be secured to the mounting plate by inserting the pair of vertical protrusions of the mounting plate through the pair of top apertures of the cover.

摘要： An LED worklight includes a center core and a first panel and a second panel coupled to the center core. The first panel includes a first LED die package disposed within a first opening formed within the first panel and a first lens disposed over the first LED die package. The second panel includes features similar to the first panel. The second panel is rotatable around the center core from a zero degree closed orientation to about a 359 degree orientation, and is positionable at any intermediate angle therebetween. The first and second panels each include an attachment mechanism having an elastic band with a hook attached thereto. The attachment mechanisms are used to attach or hang the worklight to or around one or more objects. The attachment mechanisms are stored in the worklight such that the attachment mechanisms do not interfere with its operation when not in use.
