    • A contact point type measuring device being equipped with contact point type encoder having scale contact points and brushes to supply pulse type measured signals, a counter circuit and a display section of measured value, such device comprising the scale contact points consisted of larger scale contact points arranged in a required distance and of smaller scale contact points dividing the larger scale contact point distance at a certain required pitch, the counter circuit including a larger scale counter counting larger scale measured signals obtained from the larger scale contact points and a smaller scale counter counting small scale measured signals obtained from the smaller scale contact points and resetting such counted value by the larger scale measured signals, and the display section of measured value including an upper figure displayer displaying counted value of the larger scale counter and a lower figure displayer displaying counted value of the lower scale counter, and parts of such device being manufactured with extreme ease and accuracy by mass production.

    • An apparatus for applying a high temperature refractory material to the wall surface of a coking chamber in a coke battery is equipped with: a moving carriage which is provided on the side of a coke pushing machine of the coking chamber and which is free to move back and forth outside the coke battery in the direction of the length of the coking chamber; a horizontal lance which has a trailing end attached to the moving carriage and which is free to move back and forth horizontally from one end to the other end in the direction of the length at the bottom of the coking chamber; a vertical lance which is provided in the direction of the height of the coking chamber at the leading end of the horizontal lance; and spray nozzles for applying a high temperature refractory material which are arranged in tiers in such a manner that they are directed to the wall surface of the coking chamber in the direction of the height of the vertical lance.

    • A forklift, in which, if a synchronous mode change-over switch is depressed, a forward/backward moving lever is switched over to the backward moving side, and a throttle pedal is stepped down, then a pusher is moved forward by a pusher cylinder in synchronization with the backward movement of the vehicle body of the forklift to thereby push out baggage carried on a fork therefrom. An oil pressure circuit connects together a pusher cylinder and an oil pressure pump. A hand-operated switch valve 21 is disposed in the oil pressure circuit. A valve full-open switch 22 opposes a projection portion 25 provided on and projected from a pusher lever 12 which is used to switch the state of the hand-operated switch valve 21. When the pusher lever 12 fully opens the hand-operated switch valve 21, the projection portion 25 contacts with the valve full-open switch 22 to thereby allow the valve full-open switch 22 to issue a detect signal to a control part of the forklift. Upon receiving the detect signal sent form the valve full-open switch 22, the control part operates a synchronous mode.
