摘要： A thermoplastic resin composition comprising: (A) polypropylene-based resin selected from the group consisting of a propylene homopolymer, an ethylene-propylene block copolymer composed of a propylene homopolymer portion and ethylene-propylene random copolymer portion having an intrinsic viscosity measured in tetralin at 135° C. of 1.0 or more and less than 8.0 dl/g and a mixture thereof, of 35 to 85 wt %; (B) elastomer of 10 to 35 wt %; (C) inorganic filler of 2 to 30 wt %; and (D) resin of 0.1 wt % or more and less than 5 wt %, wherein (1) the melt tension of (D) at 190° C. and a winding rate of 15.7 m/min. is 0.1 N or more, (2) the swelling ratio of (D) at 220° C., an L/D ratio of an orifice of 40 and a shear rate of 1.2×103 sec−1 is 1.8 or more, and (3) the time required until the ratio (G(t)/G(0.02)) of the relaxation modulus G(t) at 210° C. to that G(0.02) in a time of 0.02 sec. reaches 0.01, of (D) is 10 sec. or more.

摘要： A thermoplastic composition which is obtained by melt-kneading (1) 55 to 75 wt. % crystalline polypropylene resin together with (2) 10 to 30 wt. % elastomer comprising either a rubber containing a vinyl aromatic compound or a mixture thereof with an ethylene/&agr;-olefin random copolymer rubber and (3) 15 to 25 wt. % talc having an average particle diameter of 3 &mgr;m or smaller. The composition satisfies specific requirements with respect to: the long period obtained by X-ray small-angle scattering attributable to the vinyl aromatic-containing rubber in a blend obtained by melt-kneading the ingredients (1) and (2); the shape and diameter of the elastomer particles present near the polypropylene/elastomer interface in the blend; and the difference between the glass transition point of the ingredient (1) and that of the composition attributable to the crystalline polypropylene homopolymer parts. The composition has a satisfactory balance between impact resistance and rigidity and has excellent injection moldability.

摘要： An automatic sheet feeder for an image forming apparatus includes a tray to be loaded with a stack of sheets, a side guide for preventing the sheets from skewing, and a sheet feeding mechanism for sequentially picking up and feeding the sheets, the top sheet being first. The tray includes an abutment parallel to a direction of sheet conveyance. The stack of sheets abut against the abutment at one side thereof. The side guide is movable toward and away from the abutment in matching relation to the size of the sheets. The sheet feeding mechanism is positioned at the intermediate between the abutment and the position of the side guide matching with sheets of minimum size available with the sheet feeder.
