    • A rear projection screen including a Fresnel lens sheet arranged on the projection side, and a lenticular lens sheet arranged on the observation side. The Fresnel lens sheet has a lenticular lens for vertical diffusion on its light-entering side. The lenticular lens for vertical diffusion contains a plurality of convex lenses that extend horizontally, and these plural convex lenses are arranged with a constant pitch. Further, the diffusion angle of the lenticular lens for vertical diffusion continuously increases, and, at the same time, the direction of diffusion is gradually inclined to the central part side as the distance from the central part toward each of the edges on the screen surface increases. The diffusion properties (the angle and direction of diffusion) of the lenticular lens thus continuously vary between the central part and edges of the screen surface.

    • A double end stud has a shank member including a central slide shank portion and threaded portions formed coaxially on both axial ends of the slide shank portion. The threaded portions are externally threaded in opposite directions. The double end stud also has a nut member carried by the slide shank portion of the shank member slidably in the axial direction but not rotatably with respect to the slide shank portion. In use, the nut portion is moved axially as the threaded portions are screwed into female thread portions of the two structural members to be connected, so that the depth of penetration of the double end stud into both structural members are optimized to ensure a high strength of connection between these structural members.

    • A window structure for a vehicle body includes upper and lower frame members, right and left side pillar members and corner members formed integrally with the vehicle body, defining a window opening portion. A projecting edge is integrally formed with the upper and lower frame members, right and left side pillar members and corner members over an entire circumference of the window opening portion. An inner wall is formed at an inner periphery of the peripheral edge of the window opening portion. The inner wall has a groove along the entire circumference thereof. A glass retainer is implanted in the groove. A seal rubber is positioned between the glass retainer and the projecting edge. With such an arrangement, the peripheral edges of the surfaces of a window glass are pressingly clamped between the glass retainer and the projecting edge through the seal rubber, thereby providing sufficient rigidity and mechanical strength against various loads imposed to the window structure.
