    • The present invention is helpful in improving stability of repeated measurement and can be applied with high reliability for operations of devices for measurement based on brain functions. A module 801 (a sampler) receives measurement data at each of the measuring points based on information of cerebral blood amount sent from an input unit. The information data accumulated in this sampler are processed by filtering at a secondary agent 803 and a tertiary agent 804 and are analyzed. The synthesizer 802 integrates output information of each agent by weighted linear sum and transmits the data as an output data 602 to the device and operates the device.

    • Objects of the present invention are to widen a visual field of a three-dimensional image display device, and to improve the image quality of the three-dimensional image display device. A number of pixels 51, 52 are formed on a two-dimensional image display device 1 for providing image data of a three-dimensional image. A lens array 2 constituted of a large number of micro lenses 3 is disposed on the two-dimensional image display device 1. Each of the micro lenses 3 is associated with a plurality of pixels 5, each of which emits the same color. In order to ensure a visual field θ required for the three-dimensional image, a diameter LD of each of the micro lenses 3, the distance DFL between each of the pixels 5 and each of the micro lenses 3 in the two-dimensional image display device, are properly set.

    • Image retargeting is appropriately performed on stereo pair images composed of at least two images such as in three-dimensional displays. A path of connected pixels in first image data is calculated based on pixel gradient energy. Each pixel in second image data corresponding to each pixel in connected pixels in the first image data is calculated as an initial search point, based on the stereo correspondence relationship between the first image data and the second image data. Pixels that minimize energy between pixels of the first image data and pixels of the second image data in the proximity of the initial search point is calculated as a path of connected pixels in the second image data. A path of optimal connected pixels in the first image data is calculated using the energy.
