    • A thermoplastic resin composition comrpising:(A) from 5 to 50 parts by weight of a graft copolymer obtained by graft polymerizing from 20 to less than 40 parts by weight of monomers comprising from 20 to 80% by weight of an .alpha.-alkyl aromatic vinyl monomer, from 3 to 40% by weight of an aromatic vinyl monomer containing no .alpha.-alkyl aromatic vinyl monomer, from 15 to 40% by weight of a vinyl cyanide monomer and from 0 to 35% by weight of a vinyl monomer copolymerizable with these monomers, to from more than 60 to 80 parts by weight of a diene rubber-like polymer, the total amount of the monomers and the rubber-like polymer being 100 parts by weight;(B) from 0 to 60 parts by weight of a copolymer obtained by polymerizing from 60 to 90% by weight of an aromatic vinyl monomer, from 10 to 40% by weight of a vinyl cyanide monomer and from 0 to 30% by weight of a vinyl monomer copolymerizable with these monomers; and(C) from 15 to 80 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin;the total amount of components (A), (B) and (C) being 100 parts by weight. The composition is useful for making molded products.

    • A thermoplastic resin composition having excellent heat resistance, impact resistance, moldability and platability, which comprises:(i) from 10 to 90% by weight of a thermoplastic polycarbonate;(ii) from 10 to 90% by weight of a graft copolymer obtained by firstly polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising more than 30 and not more than 50% by weight of acrylonitrile and at least 50 and less than 70% by weight of styrene, as monomers for the first stage of graft polymerization, in the presence of a rubber-like polymer, and then polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising from 15 to 40% by weight of acrylonitrile and from 60 to 85% by weight of .alpha.-methylstyrene, as monomers for the second stage of graft polymerization, in the presence of the polymer obtained in the first stage; and(iii) from 0 to 60% by weight of a copolymer obtained by co-polymerizing from 50 to 80% by weight of an aromatic vinyl monomer and from 20 to 50% by weight of a vinyl cyanide monomer;the total amount of components (i), (ii) and (iii) being 100% by weight. The composition is useful for making molded products having excellent heat resistance, impact resistance and platability.

    • Disclosed is a resin composition which is usable for an exterior article without being coated on its surface when molded into the article and is excellent in the color tone and has good impact resistance and weatherability, said composition comprising (I) 10 to 70% by weight of a high-rubber-content graft polymer obtained by polymerizing 50 to 10% by weight of a monomer mixture (C) comprising 10 to 90% by weight of at least one aromatic vinyl monomer and 90 to 10% by weight of at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer represented by the following general formula:CH.sub.2 .dbd.CRXwherein R stands for a hydrogen atom or methyl group, and X stands for a group --CN or --COOR.sub.1 in which R.sub.1 stands for an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, in the presence of a latex of a multi-layer crosslinked acrylic rubber particles containing 5 to 30% by weight of a rigid crosslinked resin (A) having a core particle size of 0.15 to 0.40.mu. in the interior of the rubber particles and 45 to 85% by weight of a crosslinked acrylic acid ester polymer (B) comprising an acrylic acid ester as the main component in the outer layer of the rubber particles, so that the total amount of the components (A), (B) and (C) is 100% by weight, (II) 90 to 30% by weight of a thermoplastic resin obtained by polymerizing at least one alkyl acrylate or methacrylate represented by the following general formula:CH.sub.2 .dbd.CRCOOR.sub.1wherein R stands for a hydrogen atom or methyl group, and R.sub.1 stands for an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, in an amount of at least 90% by weight, and (III) 0 to 50% by weight of a diene type rubber-containing thermoplastic resin, the sum of the amounts of the components (I), (II) and (III) being 100% by weight.
