摘要： An image recording apparatus for recording an image of an original on a developer sheet with the use of a microcapsule, in which the developer sheet and the microcapsule sheet having a surface coated with immense number of photosensitive and pressure-rupturable microcapsules are subjected to pressure development by a pair of pressurizing rollers. To ensure that the pressure development is performed under the condition where the developer sheet and the microcapsule sheet are superposed one on the other, the nip and retract timings of the pressurizing rollers are determined properly according to the present invention. For example, the developer sheet is conveyed at a speed asynchronous with the microcapsule conveying speed and the conveyance of the developer sheet is stopped after its leading edge is introduced between the rollers held in spaced apart condition. The rollers are brought to the nip position to thereby start the pressure development when the exposure start line on the microcapsule sheet is in alignment with the leading end of the developer sheet. The retract timing is determined, for example, depending upon the size of the developer sheet.

摘要： An image recording apparatus which records an image of an original document on an image receiving sheet with the use of a photosensitive recording medium, the image receiving sheet having front and rear faces differing in reflection ratio. To detect error in sheet face orientation, a sheet face sensor unit is provided upstream of a pressure developing unit which discriminates a face of the image receiving sheet. The sensor unit includes a light emitting element for emitting light toward the face of the image receiving sheet and a light receiving element for receiving light emitted from the light emitting element and reflected on the face of the image receiving sheet. A central processing unit is supplied with data representative of amounts of light emitted from the light emitting element and light received at the light receiving element, wherein the central processing unit computes a reflection ratio based on the data supplied thereto and produces a discrimination signal indicative of an error in sheet face orientation of the image receiving sheet based on the reflection ratio being computed.

摘要： A digital filter of linear phase non-cyclic type comprises a shift register composed of serially connected delay elements with a specified delay time. The outputs from the individual delay elements are multiplied and added so that the output sampling frequency is twice that of the input sampling frequency which enters the shift register. The number of multiplications is significantly reduced by making the number of output lines from the delay elements to be odd and by placing adders between the shift register and the device for carrying out multiplications. An alternative method is to use read only memories instead of the means for carrying out multiplications.

The apparatus comprises a setting unit for setting a plural image mode of operation where a plurality of images are recorded sequentially upon a single actuation thereof by a operator, an exposing unit for exposing the photosensitive recording medium to a light image at predetermined time intervals as the photosensitive recording medium is fed past an exposure position, a developing unit disposed downstream of the exposing unit along the recording medium feeding path for developing the exposed photosensitive recording medium, a first recording medium feeding unit for feeding the photosensitive recording medium upstream of the exposure position with respect to the recording medium feeding path, a second recording medium feeding unit for feeding the photosensitive recording medium downstream of the exposure position with respect to the recording medium feeding path, and a controlling unit for controlling the first recording medium feeding unit and the second recording medium feeding unit so that the speed of feeding by the first recording medium feeding unit is faster than the speed of feeding by the second recording medium feeding unit at least during an exposing operation when the plural image mode is set by the setting unit.
