摘要： Sintered bodies having improved sinterability and toughness consist essentially of: (1) 100 parts by weight of titanium carbide, titanium oxide and aluminum oxide, the titanium carbide and titanium oxide accounting for 15 to 60 percent by weight and the aluminum oxide accounting for 85 to 40 percent by weight, the amount of titanium oxide relative to the titanium carbide and titanium oxide being 5 to 15 percent by weight, and (2) 0.039 to 1.575 parts by weight of yttrium. The system also includes a road surface condition detector which detects, for every first period, the condition of a road surface on which the vehicle is running on the basis of a change of the damping force of the shock absorber, and a damping force adjustment correcting unit which corrects the adjustment reference value by learning, for every second period, the adjustment reference value on the basis of a parameter related to the damping force of the shock absorber which reflects the condition of the road surface. Further, the system includes a period adjustment unit which adjusts the first period on the basis of a vehicle speed.

摘要： A suspension control system for controlling a suspension having a shock absorber provided for a wheel of a vehicle includes a damping force detector which generates a damping force detection signal which indicates a change of a damping force of the shock absorber based on a condition of a road surface on which the vehicle is running. The system also includes a sprung resonance component extraction unit which extracts a sprung resonance component signal from the damping force detection signal. The sprung resonance component signal includes components having frequencies around a sprung resonance frequency of the shock absorber. Further, the system includes a determining part which determines whether or not the sprung resonance component signal exceeds a first level range provided for detecting a sign of the occurrence of a long-term vehicle vibration and which outputs a determination result. Moreover, the system includes a damping force controller which controls the shock absorber so that when the determining part determines that the sprung resonance component signal exceeds the first level range, the damping force of the shock absorber is altered to and maintained at an increased level and thus the suspension is maintained at a state which corresponds to the increased level and which is harder than before.

摘要： A control circuit for a vehicle-mounted air conditioner having plural dampers therein comprises a manual command entry unit for entering command signals to a computer unit. The computer unit includes a first computer constantly powered by a vehicle-mounted storage battery to receive a temperature resetting command signal from the entry unit and a second computer which is powered from the battery through an engine ignition key switch to receive control data from the first computer to control the air conditioner. A plurality of operating parameter sensors also supplies sensed operating parameters to the second computer to permit it to control one or more of the dampers to direct conditioned air to the vehicle compartment. A display unit receives data from the computer unit to provide visual display of the reference temperature and the operating conditions of the air conditioner.

摘要： The invention is directed to an electromagnetic valve unit, which includes a housing for defining therein a first chamber and a second chamber separated by a wall member having at least a communication hole, and a plurality of electromagnetic valves each having at least a terminal. At least a part of each electromagnetic valve is mounted in the first chamber. A circuit board for mounting thereon an electronic control element for controlling the electromagnetic valves is mounted in the second chamber. The valve unit further includes a conductive member, one end portion of which is connected with each terminal of the electromagnetic valves, and the other end portion of which is connected with the circuit board through the communication hole of the wall member. And, a seal member such as a resilient grommet is provided for holding the conductive member in the communication hole of the wall member to provide a seal therebetween. Each of the electromagnetic valves may be provided with a valve portion and a solenoid coil portion which is separable from the valve portion and which has the terminal connected with the conductive member.
