摘要： To provide a motion detecting apparatus that judges whether each macro block shows a part of an object in motion using motion vectors calculated by a general-purpose MPEG video encoder during motion compensation. The motion detecting apparatus compares a motion vector of a present macro block with motion vectors of macro blocks surrounding the present macro block. If the motion vector of the present macro block and the motion vectors of the surrounding macro blocks are not random in direction and magnitude, the motion detecting apparatus judges that the present macro block shows a part of an object in motion. Otherwise, the motion detecting apparatus judges that the present macro block does not show a part of an object in motion.

摘要： A method for producing nickel nanoparticles is described, including a first step of heating a mixture of a nickel carboxylate with 1-12 carbon atoms in its moiety excluding —COOH and a primary amine to obtain a complexed reaction solution with a nickel complex foiiiied therein, and a second step of heating the complexed reaction solution by a microwave to obtain a Ni-nanoparticle slurry. In the first step, the heating is preferably conducted at a temperature of 105-175° C. for 15 minutes or longer. In the second step, the heating is preferably conducted at a temperature of 180° C. or higher.

The solid lubricant particles can be either graphite particles with a nickel layer formed on a surface thereof, or boron nitride cermet particles. By thus including the specific solid lubricant particles, the wear resistance of the metal-based composite can be improved, the wear of its mating parts can be reduced, and the friction coefficient between the metal-based composite and the mating parts can be inhibited from fluctuating. Hence, the metal-based composite can appropriately make aluminum-based internal combustion engines.

A receiver provided with this processor may receive images broadcast under the existing television systems without troubles and also may reproduce TV images with a larger aspect ratio than the conventional 4:3 aspect ratio by the application of synchronous detection, time-axis compression, time-axis expansion, etc.
