摘要： There is provided a method and an apparatus for improving surface roughness of tooth surfaces of an external-tooth gear (W), and thereby reducing the occurrence of noises associated with the meshing between teeth. In accordance with the method, teeth of the external-tooth gear (W) are polished by rotating teeth of the external-tooth gear (W) relative to a film polishing member (110) in the tooth profile direction, and simultaneously by oscillating the external-tooth gear (W) in the tooth trace direction, while pressing the film polishing member (110) against tooth surfaces of the external-tooth gear W by backing up with a shoe (120).

A method of fabricating a pin (roller) retaining ring in an internal meshing gear mechanism, the mechanism having an internal gear 20 and external gears 5a, 5b put into internal mesh with the internal gear, the internal gear consisting of a pin (roller) retaining ring 110 having half-round pin (roller) retaining holes in its inner periphery and pins (rollers) 11 rotatably fitted to the respective pin retaining holes, is provided. Here, before the bore diameter &phgr;DA of a pin retaining ring base material 151 is machined to a finished diameter, the pin retaining holes 113a are cut as full round holes into the ring base material. The inner surfaces of the pin retaining holes 113a are finished by roller burnishing, and then the bore diameter of the pin retaining ring is expanded to the finished diameter to obtain the pin retaining ring having the half-round pin retaining holes. This realizes the lubrication between the pin retaining holes and the pins in a state close to fluid lubrication.

摘要： The oscillating internally meshing planetary gear system has the configuration of rotating external gears inside an internal gear oscillatingly through the intermediary of eccentric bodies so that a relative rotation between the internal gear and the external gears is taken out through a pair of first and second carriers arranged on both axial sides of the external gears. In this configuration, eccentric body shafts are supported by the first and second carriers through needles. Thrust receiving means for restricting axial movement of the eccentric body shafts are arranged between step portions formed on the eccentric body shafts and the first and second carriers.
