    • Provided is a method and apparatus for controlling congestion of a node in an ad-hoc network comprising: classifying a channel state into a busy channel state and an idle channel state and then monitoring the channel state; performing contention for acquiring a channel with neighboring nodes when data to be transmitted is present during the monitoring of the channel state; calculating an available bandwidth on the basis of the channel state when wins the contention; and determining the amount of data to be transmitted on the basis of the available bandwidth. The nodes in the ah-hoc network monitor their own wireless channel state so as to obtain channel contention information, calculate an available bandwidth from the channel contention information, and control a transmission amount on the basis of the available bandwidth. Accordingly, the nodes can avoid excessive traffic which exceeds channel capacity. Channel contention, which is the most immediate and important cause of a decrease in network performance, can be loosened.

    • A congestion control access gateway and a congestion control method for the same are provided. The congestion control access gateway interfaces between a broadband convergence network and a ubiquitous sensor network including sensors and terminals. The congestion control access gateway receives data from the ubiquitous sensor network. When a congestion situation has occurred, the congestion control access gateway detects the congestion situation based on data received in the congestion situation and broadcasts congestion notification and control messages in response to the congestion situation detection. The congestion control access gateway generates a congestion situation detection profile as a result of the congestion situation detection and performs priority queuing of the received data based on the congestion situation detection profile and service classes. The congestion control access gateway determines destination of the queued data using the congestion situation detection profile and routes the data to a corresponding service.

    • The present invention provides a method and apparatus for controlling a T-communication convergence service in a wired-wireless convergence network, and more particularly, a method and apparatus for providing a function of controlling the T-communication convergence service, in which a communication service and a broadcasting service are converged, without depending on a wired or wireless terminal in a wired-wireless convergence network. According to the method, an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) based call session control unit and a broadcasting control function are utilized to the utmost so that the T-communication convergence service is used regardless of types of networks and terminals that a user is connected to, and sessions related to performance of the T-communication convergence service and the states of the sessions can be controlled. Also, an environment for providing a policy, which can authenticate a user using the T-communication convergence service and process convergence service in the T-communication convergence service, can be constructed. In addition, by building a system for controlling the T-communication convergence service which can be easily applied to communication networks other than a certain communication network, reusability and portability of the system are increased.

    • A command input method makes use of a three-dimensional motion recognition device embodied with an inertia system and is particularly directed to extend the total number of inputable commands using initial posture information as well as movement pattern of a motion recognition device. The command input method includes the steps of: determining initial posture at start point when movement of the motion recognition device is generated; determining a pattern of the movement at the end of the movement; and deciding a command from the determined initial posture and the movement pattern. Since the three-dimensional spatial motion can be further differentiated into different commands by the initial posture of the input device, the command input system can be simplified in structure with less number of recognizable motions.
