    • An X-ray diagnostic system according to an embodiment includes: an X-ray tube for radiating an X-ray to the subject on the basis of a tube current for taking a scanogram of a subject; an X-ray detector for detecting the X-ray radiated by the X-ray tube and transmitted through the subject; a data collector for collecting X-ray dose distribution data, which shows the dose distribution of the X-ray; an image processor for creating the scanogram from the X-ray dose distribution data; a genuine data generator for generating genuine data showing the dose distribution of the X-ray, from the scanogram; a threshold value setting section for setting a threshold value for the genuine data; and a tube current adjustor for adjusting a tube current for taking a tomographic image of the subject in accordance with a comparison between the X-ray dose in the genuine data and the threshold value.

    • A multislice CT apparatus includes a setting unit, a correcting unit, a filtering unit and a reconstructing unit. The setting unit sets a weighting coefficient in such a way that data on a middle column is weighted high while data on columns on both sides of the middle column is weighted low on a middle channel in a multislice detector, and that a weight given to data on a middle column falls while a weight given to data on both side columns rises as shifting from the middle channel to an end channel. The correcting unit corrects the weighting coefficient in such a way that a weight rises as shifting from a central column to an end column. The filtering unit filters data on the basis of the corrected weighting coefficient in a column direction. The reconstructing unit reconstructs an image on the basis of the filtered data.

    • X-ray CT system is provided that reduces waiting time for shuttle scanning, comprising: top-plate moving unit; rotary moving unit; data acquisition system; and control unit. Top-plate moving unit displaces top plate to reciprocate in a direction from a starting point to an ending point and in the direction from the ending point to the starting point. Rotary moving unit drives X-ray radiator radiating X-rays to revolve around the subject. Data acquisition system detects X-rays passed through the subject and to gather projection data. Controller controls at least top-plate moving unit so that, during a scanning with X-rays, while projection data are gathered with reciprocating movement of top plate between the starting point and the ending point and with X-ray radiator being driven to make revolving movement, the duration required for reciprocation of the top plate movement being an integral multiple of revolution period of the revolving movement of X-ray radiator.
