摘要： A communication system for a plurality of users in an emergency room or operating room environment, in particular for use in hospitals, efficiently assists communication in a complex environment. The communication system for a plurality of users of wearable capturing devices includes a circuit (identification circuit) including program logic arranged to identify, by a second wearable device, and capture a viewpoint of the first wearable device; a circuit (exchange circuit) includes program logic arranged to cause the first wearable device wearer to exchange the captured viewpoint with the second wearable device wearer; and a circuit (projecting circuit) includes program logic arranged to provide the exchanged viewpoint by the second wearable device as an exchanged viewpoint to the second wearable device wearer.

摘要： A remote control device (1) for remotely controlling an appliance (A) is provided. The remote control device (1) comprises a contact sensing facility (10), a control mode selection facility (20), an input facility (30), a processor facility (40) and a transmission facility (50). The contact sensing facility (10) determines a degree of physical contact between the remote control device and a user (U) and generates a mode control signal (Smc) indicative for this degree. The control mode selection facility (20) selects one of a plurality of selectable operational modes (M1, M2, M3) of the remote control device dependent on the degree indicated by the mode control signal. The selectable operational modes enable respective subsets of user control modes from a plurality of user control modes. The input facility (30) is arranged to receive user input and generating a user input signal (Sinp) indicative for the user input. The processor facility (40) derives appliance control information (Saci) for the appliance from the user input signal according to a function enabled by the selected operational mode and the transmission facility (50) transmits the appliance control information to the appliance.

The alert signal comprises medical information (122) representing an alert generated by the medical device to alert a healthcare professional to a state of the patient and/or the medical device. The system obtains the alert signal (024) of the medical device (020). The system comprises an interpretation subsystem (140) which accesses an interpretation database (040). Using the interpretation database (040), the interpretation subsystem (140) generates an interpreted version (142) of the alert by using the interpretation data (044) to interpret the medical information. This interpreted version of the alert provides an explanation of the alert in a manner suitable for a non-professional caretaker of the patient. The system then generates an output signal (162) comprising said interpreted version for a mobile device to enable communicating the interpreted version of the medical information to the non-professional caretaker via the mobile device (060). As such, the non-professional caretaker is provided with information he/she can understand.
