摘要： A network configuration and process are disclosed in which a user equipment preserves its physical uplink control channel resources (PUCCH) in connected mode when so instructed by the network upon expiration of a time alignment timer. A method may include monitoring, at a mobile apparatus, a connection quality associated with a serving cell serving the mobile apparatus. The predefined threshold connection quality condition may be indicative of potential inter-cell interference from a cell located within a coverage area of the serving cell. In an instance in which it is determined that the predefined threshold connection quality condition has been satisfied, the method may additionally include causing a report indicating that the predefined threshold connection quality condition has been satisfied to be sent to a network node associated with the serving cell. A corresponding apparatus is also provided.

摘要： An apparatus for minimizing the recovery time of connecting to a network may include a processor and memory storing executable computer code causing the apparatus to at least perform operations including receiving a message including a preparatory handover command indicating one or more candidate target cells for handover and data indicating that the candidate target cells are selectable for handover in response to a future detection of one or more handover conditions. The computer program code may further cause the apparatus to initiate a selection of one of the candidate target cells for handover of an apparatus in response to detection of at least one of the handover conditions. The computer program code may further cause the apparatus to enable handover of the apparatus to the selected candidate target cell. Corresponding methods and computer program products are also provided.
