    • The present invention provides a gaming machine which allows players to observe a gaming image which is displayed for one player without being influenced by a gaming image which is displayed for another player in perfoming a game in which a plurality of players can play, and to reduce an equipment cost and an installation space. A display device 2 which adopts dual view liquid crystal is mounted on an approximately center of the gaming machine 1, and a common screen showing a common gaming situation to both players is displayed for the first and the second players P1, P2 and, at the same time, corresponding to the gaming situation, a first image which shows a gaming situation on the first player P1 is displayed for the first player within an angle range of θ2 and, simultaneously, a second image which shows a gaming situation on the second player P2 is displayed for the second player within an angle range of θ2.

    • A gaming machine has a lower liquid crystal display and a CPU. The lower liquid crystal display includes therein variable display portions in which a plurality of symbols to be used in a game are variably displayed and effect display regions in which effect contents are displayed according to a game state. The CPU controls the variable display of symbols in the variable display portions and the effect contents in the effect display regions. The CPU displays one or more additional symbols to be used for a winning determination in the game, in one or more effect display regions and in the vicinity of one or more symbols displayed in one or more variable display portions.

    • A gaming machine includes: an image display device; and a game processing unit that performs a process for providing a player a game by controlling the image display device to display a progress of the game. The game processing unit performs the process including: controlling the image display device to perform variable display for variably displaying a plurality of symbols on each of a plurality of symbol display sections configured on a screen of the image display device; controlling the image display device to stop performing the variable display and to display symbols being stopped in each of the symbol display sections; determining that the game is won when a symbol combination, which is a combination of symbols being stopped in a determination area defined by a part of the symbol display sections, satisfies a winning combination; determining that a partial win of the game is satisfied when a specific symbol, which satisfies the winning combination when replaced with one of the symbols in the symbol combination, is displayed stopped in one of the symbol display sections excluding the determination area; controlling, when determined that the partial win is satisfied, the image display device to re-perform the variable display on one of the the symbol display sections in which the symbol to be replaced with the specific symbol is stopped; and controlling the image display device to display the specific symbol to be moved from the symbol display section, in which the specific symbol is displayed stopped, to the symbol display section on which the variable display is re-performed, while the variable display is re-performed on the symbol display section.
