The force signals are measured in multiple data collection channels, and can be individually enabled or disabled by an operator to facilitate machine setup and troubleshooting. A user interface provides a display showing the force applied during the container-sealing process, as well as summary information regarding the status of multiple container-sealing machines in a production line.

Arbitrary relationships between nodes may be collectively defined by users, allowing completely free-form arrangements, for example hierarchical, non-hierarchical, or circular, or consisting of one or more disconnected sub-graphs. Annotations may be attached both to nodes and to the relationship connections between nodes. Input of new data to a map is facilitated by means of an intelligent data-gathering button and automated form management.
