摘要： The present disclosure relates to a biofilter for wastewater digestion, in which a high degree of contaminant removal is obtained with a single device. In order for these levels to be achieved, the following are essential: the shape of the biofilter, the supply/discharge ratio of the biofilter, the position and height of each of the components and, finally, the combination of two packed zones, namely: a random zone, and a zone arranged in the form of ringed or corrugated tube bundles.

摘要： The invention relates to a biofilter for wastewater digestion, comprising: an outer tank (1), a supply pipe (7) that extends to the centre of the tank (1) through a sealed upper inner tank (8) having peripheral openings (22) at a height lower than that of the supply pipe (7), and a discharge pipe (19). The aforementioned supply pipe (7) includes a T-branch (11) in which one arm (12) extends to the cover (10) of the tank (1) and the other arm (14) extends downwards through a sealed lower inner tank (15) having peripheral openings (25, 16) in the upper and lower part of the wall. According to the invention, the biofilter comprises two packing sections, namely a lower section (17) having randomly distributed packing and an upper section (23) having packing formed by corrugated tube bundles. In addition, the biofilter includes a self-cleaning system consisting of an inclined duct (18) having a horizontal branch (20) with a valve (21) at the outer end thereof.

摘要： The invention relates to a wastewater treatment plant, specifically a modular plant for the treatment of organic wastewater, in which the number of devices depends on the amount of water to be treated and on the quality of the starting water and that required for the water at the end of the process. The treatment plant includes multiple devices, each representing a treatment step, and the devices can be connected in series, in parallel or in series and parallel. In addition, the devices used in the process are designed to require a minimum amount of maintenance, owing to the inclusion of a self-cleaning system. Since the system requires minimal power and maintenance, it is considered optimal for use in rural communities, livestock farms or buildings.
