摘要： A lamp socket that can reduce the thickness of both sides of a display device includes a socket main body having a contact hole formed therein, and a power-applying member coupled to the socket main body through the contact hole, and provided with a lamp connection terminal, an inverter connection terminal, and a terminal connection part connected with the lamp connection terminal in a bent form so as to connect the lamp connection terminal with the inverter connection terminal. Accordingly, the thickness of both sides of the display device including the lamp sockets is reduced, and the compatibility of the product is extended.

摘要： A backlight assembly includes a light source, a light-guide plate and an integrally formed frame. The light-guide plate guides light generated from the light source. The integrally formed frame includes a chassis and a mold frame integrally combined with the chassis as an indivisible unitary element through insert/outsert injection. The integrally formed frame receives the light source and the light-guide plate. A hemming part is formed on a sidewall of the chassis to increase strength of the integrally formed frame. Therefore, the number of elements is decreased, and strength against bending stress, impact resistance and heat dissipation are improved.

The backlight assembly includes a light guide plate, a light source module which emits light to a side surface of the light guide plate, and a housing which accommodates the light guide plate and the light source module. The light source module includes a printed circuit board on which a plurality of a point light source is mounted, and a light source fixing board which supports the printed circuit board. The housing includes a bottom portion on which the light guide plate is placed, and a fixing portion which extends from an edge of the bottom portion. An extension portion of the light source fixing board, which is adjacent to a corner of the light guide plate, and an end of the fixing portion of the housing, are coupled to a reinforcing member.
