    • Systems and methods for dynamically integrating disparate computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems are disclosed. The systems and methods provide bi-directional interoperability between disparate CAD systems and maintain stateful ongoing interactions between interconnected CAD systems. Information objects in one CAD system are associated and bound to related objects in other CAD systems through a centralized information hub that transforms data items intelligently to facilitate communication and interaction between the CAD systems connected to the hub. The described systems and methods maintain complete and current perspectives of all relevant information for each CAD system connected to the information hub, thereby eliminating the need for point-to-point intelligence maintained by the CAD systems about the other interconnected CAD systems. As information updates are passed from CAD systems to the information hub and back out to other CAD systems, the information hub transforms and evaluates the information updates ensuring that only necessary information updates are forwarded.

    • A collapsible folding stand for use with an object that is attached to the stand. In the closed position, the stand is generally vertically oriented with the object attached to a top frame. To open the stand a locking mechanism is released which enables a folding mechanism supporting the top frame to unfold in a manner whereby the rear legs having wheels that separate from forward side struts which contact the ground, with the center of gravity of the object being positioned between the wheels and the front ground contact points so that the weight of the object tends to separate the same and bring the top frame into a generally horizontal position. To move the stand to its closed position, the handle is lifted to move the top frame to its generally vertical closed position.

    • A miter saw assembly includes a base and a turntable rotatable in relation to the base. The miter saw further includes a cutting assembly having a saw blade configured to cut a work piece positioned on the turntable. In addition, the miter saw includes a dust conduit positioned to receive saw dust generated by a cutting operation of the cutting assembly on the work piece. The miter saw also includes a support assembly coupled to the turntable and configured to support the cutting assembly, the support assembly including (i) a carriage mechanism configured to enable linear movement of the cutting assembly in relation to the turntable, and (ii) a pivot mechanism configured to enable pivotal movement of the cutting assembly in relation to the turntable. The saw blade possesses (i) a first lateral face that defines a first plane, and (ii) a second lateral face that defines a second plane. A zone is defined between the first plane and the second plane. At least a portion of the dust conduit is positioned in the zone. All of the pivot mechanism is spaced apart from the zone.
