摘要： The invention is directed to wastewater treatment and wastewater reuse. A distributed biological treatment system for modification of the sewer biofilm through the mechanism of competitive exclusion by strategic dosing with facultative bacteria is illustrated, in conjunction with a novel membrane biological reactor (MBR)/biological breeding reactor (BBR) package plant, a plurality of which are likewise designed for strategic placement throughout the sewer/collection system infrastructure. The inclusion of the MBR/BBR plants at specific locations within the distribution system provide upstream water reclamation, thereby facilitating more efficient operation of the downstream wastewater treatment plant and providing for water reuse at intermediate points within the distribution network, as well as a means for concentrating the facultative bacteria which has been dosed to various points in the system, which can then be re-inoculated to the system.

摘要： An anchor plate is made from a strip of metal of narrow width having a bend in the center, a cylindrical aperture in one end and a D-shaped aperture in the opposite end. The cloth belt has one side folded over the central portion and the other side folded over the folded side portion providing three thicknesses of reduced width which extends through the D-shaped aperture with the end spread out and stitched to the adjacent main body portion of the belt. The end extending beyond the cylindrical aperture has offset areas which interlock with a plate on the floor to limit the angular movement of the anchor plate.

摘要： The disclosure relates to an adjustable tongue and locking device for a vehicle seat belt. One end of the seat belt is anchored to the floor of the vehicle and the other end is attached to a roof mounted retractor. A seat belt buckle accepts the tongue for restraining a passenger in the conventional manner. The adjustable tongue permits the portion of the belt that extends over an occupant's lap to be adjusted to a comfortable length whereupon the roof mounted retractor takes up any slack in the portion of the belt extending over the occupant's shoulders.The tongue is required to be adjustable so that different sized occupants may use the belt, since the lower end portion thereof is secured to the floor of the vehicle. The tongue is freely slidable downwardly against a stop on the belt when the belt is in the stored condition thereby locating the tongue for ease of access by the occupant.

A seat belt is stored on floor and pillar mounted retractors. A tonque is mounted on said belt for acceptance in a complimentary buckle. The floor mounted retractor and buckle are electrically connected so as to control the condition of the retractor. Effort required of a passenger to draw the tongue across his body and couple the tongue into the buckle is minimized due to the use of relatively light springs and the absence of clutches. Moreover, spurious locking of the floor retractor is precluded.

The switch is actuated in response to the placement of a tongue element connected to one end of a safety belt in a fixedly locked position relative to the buckle. In one form of the invention, the switch is "normally closed" and opened in response to interconnecting the belt and buckle members whereas in a second form a "normally open" switch is provided which is closed by interconnecting the members.

摘要： A vehicle accessory assembly is disclosed for mounting on an interior panel, such as on a visor, for example, and includes an accessory devce, such as a vanity mirror assembly, interconnected with the visor or other vehicle panel at a generally fixed location thereon. A preferred laterally sliding accessory door is interconnected with the visor or other interior panel for selective lateral movement between a closed position wherein the accessory device is substantially covered and an open position wherein the accessory device is substantially exposed. Preferably, a switch is provided for electrically energizing a light or other electrical component in response to movement of the accessory door from its closed to its open position, and a manually operable override feature is also preferably provided in the event that the user wishes to disable the switch and prevent such energization in response to the opening movement of the door. In addition, the assembly can also be provided with other features, such as a disconnect switch that disconnects the electrical system of the accessory assembly whenever the visor or other vehicle panel is moved to a predetermined position.
