According to one aspect, a fence-covering system includes one or more removable fence-covering members that snap-fit onto the existing rails of a fence. Each fence-covering member can include an upper rail-engaging end portion that engages a horizontal rail of the fence, a lower rail-engaging end portion that engages another horizontal rail of the fence, and a generally flat panel member that covers the openings between the rails. According to another aspect, a fence-covering system comprises a sheet of a strong, flexible material, such as a fabric or fabric-like material, that is wrapped around the rails of a fence.

摘要： A display unit is provided which includes a housing configured for mounting in an interior region of a vehicle. The housing has a track which extends from a cavity in the housing and a corresponding carriage which rides along the track. A screen, or display, with a viewing surface is pivotally mounted on the carriage to provide for deployment of the display first by translation of the display along the track between a first position wherein the display is at least partially contained within the cavity in a generally horizontal orientation and an intermediate position with the display still in the generally horizontal orientation, and second by pivot of the display about a first axis from the intermediate position to a deployed position wherein the viewing surface is presented for viewing by an occupant of the vehicle.

摘要： A stowable display apparatus is disclosed that includes a base adapted to be mounted on the ceiling of a vehicle, such as an automobile, and a display unit that is mounted on the base. The display unit is pivotal with respect to the base in a range of positions between a stowed position, in which the unit is retained proximate the base and generally parallel to the ceiling of the vehicle, and a deployed position, in which the unit is pivoted away from the base into the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The display unit further includes a push-button mechanism that selectively engages the display unit to retain the unit in the stowed position. The mechanism includes a push-button actuator that is moveable between a rest position, in which the mechanism is positioned to engage the display unit, and a depressed position, in which the actuator is moved toward the base and the mechanism freed from engagement with the display unit, thereby enabling the display unit to pivot away from the stowed position.

摘要： A monitor support system with self-positioning guide track that includes a base configured for mounting in the interior of a land vehicle, and a monitor support member positioned for sliding motion through a bore in the base. The monitor support member supports a monitor, and may be moved between a stowed position wherein a supported monitor is positioned adjacent the base for storage and a deployed position wherein a supported monitor is positioned away from the base for use by a vehicle occupant. The monitor support member may include a longitudinal guideway and the base may include a guideway positioning element that engages the guideway to guide sliding longitudinal movement of the monitor support member along a desired trajectory between the stowed and deployed positions. The monitor support member further may include at least one transverse guideway that engages the guideway positioning element to permit transverse sliding movement of the monitor support member following deployment along the longitudinal axis.
